• Sidney Barclais: Founder and Partner of Barclais USA, LLC
Sidney Barclais
is the managing Partner of Barclais CPA, LLC, a public accounting firm that
provides accounting, tax and auditing services to American Subsidiaries of
French Groups. The firm also provides tax advisory services to key employees
and executives of these subsidiaries, most of which usually face specific
issues due to their taxation both in France and in the United States.
Sidney specializes in reporting and preparation of financial statements
under US GAAP, IFRS or French GAAP. He is also an expert on the audit of
financial statements prepared under US GAAP, IFRS or French GAAP.
In addition to being a comprehensive resource on mergers& acquisitions
carried out by French investors in the US, Sidney also provides tax advisory
services to corporations and individuals investing in the US.

François Musé:
Consulting Partner, French American Accountancy, LLP
As a manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP, Francois worked in their San
Francisco, Paris and Sacramento, CA, offices. He left Deloitte to become
CFO of the Chalone Wine Group (Nasdaq: CHLN). In 2000, he founded French
American Accountancy, LLP.
François offers over 20 years of accounting experience performing financial
analyses of a broad range of companies, from small start-up enterprises to
large publicly-traded and multi-national concerns. His emphases include:
auditing, company valuations and financial projects, and investigative
accounting – applicable to all cases involving the evaluation of
damages, business valuations for purposes of litigation, or transactional
matters such as mergers acquisitions or dissolutions.
He also specializes in the analysis and re-engineering of processes and
internal control environments, as well as the design and implementation of
new accounting systems.

Piper Musé:
Tax Partner, French American Accountancy, LLP
In 2002, after 12 years in their Sacramento, CA, and Paris offices, Piper
left Ernst & Young LLP as a tax-consulting senior-manager in order to join
French American Accountancy. Piper has served a wide range of domestic and
international clients in a broad range of industries, including: Commercial,
Wholesale and Retail.
She specializes in accounting issues involving manufacturing, professional
services, real estate, high-tech ventures, and venture capital funds
