Business Plan
Precise business planning is one of the most
important aspects of the business startup process. As a famous
quotation explains, “Fail to Plan, Plan
to fail”. In effect, business planning can make the critical
difference between success and failure.
A business plan
serves to define your business, identify your goals, and acts
as your firm's resume. You can not create a company with out
business plan. It’s necessary as soon as you want to apply for a
Visa (e.g. entrepreneur Visa : E2) if you want to raise money from
investors (angels and VCs).
The basic components include a current and pro
forma balance sheet, an income statement, and a cash flow analysis.
It helps you allocate resources properly, handle unforeseen
complications, and make good business decisions. A good business
plan provides specific and organized information about your company
and how you will repay borrowed money. It is therefore a crucial
part of any loan application. Additionally, it informs sales
personnel, suppliers, and others about your operations and goals.
