Lori Honjiyo FDIC, In-House Counsel
Lori is a career government attorney with over twenty years of experience. She has been with the FDIC since 1990 and currently serves as a counsel senior litigator in the San Francisco Regional Office. Her areas of expertise include bank regulation, bank compliance issues, consumer protection laws and FDIC enforcement litigation. Most recently she was part of the litigation team that successfully prosecuted CompuCredit Corp. This case involved the alleged deceptive marketing of subprime credit cards to thousands of consumers. Just last month, CompuCredit Corp. settled and agreed to provide $114 million in restitution to consumers, and pay a $2.4 million civil money penalty.
