A
veteran of the personal care industry, Laure de Metz is an expert in
the art of crafting and growing global personal care brands. Her
extensive experience in the personal care field is evident in her
direction of Banana Republic’s new fragrance Collection, a project she
has overseen and driven from its initial vision to this date. Prior to
joining Gap, Inc., Laure was the Marketing Director of Clinique
Cosmetics in France where she worked on a variety of projects
including the launch of the company’s Happy fragrance, as well as
growing the Skin Care and Makeup lines. Laure also worked in marketing
Yves Saint Laurent fragrances worldwide and started her career at
Procter & Gamble in France. Laure moved to the United States in 2000
and, together with her husband, she lives in Berkeley. Her three
children attend EB.
