The French American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco (FACCSF) invites regularly the Francophile Women in Business to a professional network to promote their career, broaden their professional horizon and enhance their financial acumen.

For this edition, we have the pleasure to showcase Beth Cobert, Director at McKinsey & Company.

Beth Cobert is a Director (Senior Partner) of McKinsey & Company, the leading global management consulting firm.

 

Beth is a leader of McKinsey’s Global Marketing Practice and its Personal Financial Services and Private Equity practices. She has been the leader of McKinsey’s San Francisco office and also serves on the steering committee for McKinsey’s Women’s Initiative.

 

Beth has worked on a variety of strategic, marketing and organizational issues for institutions in the financial services, health care, private equity and social sectors. Her clients include major institutions in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia.

 

Beth has also been active in a variety of community and not for profit organizations. She currently serves on the boards of the United Way of the Bay Area, San Francisco Ballet and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.

 

Beth received her M.B.A. in 1984 from Stanford Business School, where she was an Arjay Miller scholar. She also holds a B.A. in Economics, Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude, from Princeton University. Beth lives in San Francisco with her husband Adam Cioth and two children (Peter, 17 and Talia, 14) who are students at the French American International School/International High School.
