How this program works for companies...
Since its creation in 1978, the French-American Chamber
of Commerce, San Francisco has developed a close relationship with many
French and American companies in the area.
Our objective is to provide a quality service of recruitment
to FACC members with positions requiring French- speaking skills in particular.
Through the FACCSF website, we will place your referenced
job listing or internship offer under "Employment". We will pre-screen
resumes received and send them to you or you may request that applicants
contact you directly.
Many applicants in our employment program will have
a preliminary interview in order to ensure us of his/hers qualifications.
Aptitudes of candidates residing out of state or out of the country will
be determined by a detailed study of his/her resume and possibly a telephone
interview.
The goal of this employment program is to make resumes
of bi-lingual applicants available to our members. A certain number of
applicants registered with our program are not authorized to work in the
United States.
We inform all companies interested in joining
this program that the French-American Chamber of Commerce through the FACC
New York, is entitled to issue J-1 work visas. All concerns regarding an
applicants immigration issues can be addressed..
Each company interested in this program will receive
complete documentation on the procedures to obtain a J-1 visa for up to
18 months for a potential employee.
Participation in the FACC Employment Program is independent
from becoming a member of the French-American Chamber of Commerce, San
Francisco.
However, because of their support of the activities
of the FACC, members will profit from a preferential access fee to the
employment program.
