SAN FRANCISCO-BAY AREA EMPLOYMENT
PROGRAM
The French-American Chamber of Commerce in partnership
with the Consulat General de France presents the FACC Employment Program
in San Francisco. Our primary goal is to provide a useful service to FACC
member companies with positions for bi-lingual employees as well as to
facilitate access to employment in the Bay Area for native French and bi-lingual
Americans.
The French-American Chamber of Commerce regroups a
growing number of French and American companies with common economic interests
in France and a variety of offers for employment. We propose to put these
offers as well as our experience, contacts and knowledge of "The Bay
Area" at your disposition.
The French Consulate in association with the Comité
Consulaire pour l’Emploi et la Formation Professionnelle has been
counseling French persons seeking employment for a number of years. It
is this understanding of the difficulties associated with living and working
abroad along with a general knowledge of American immigration laws that
we offer.
Two important factors from the basis of this initiative:
A large French community in this area made up of highly
qualified personnel.
The internationalization of professionals (notable in information technology
and telecommunications) in addition to a real need for French speaking
employees in certain companies which facilitates the access to employment
of legal aliens.
Our Program
This program is structured to correspond to both job
seekers and the human resource needs of companies looking for French speaking
personnel.
