Careful immigration planning is essential for companies setting up and growing in the USA. Corporate reorganizations such as acquisitions or mergers can have significant immigration impacts on your ability to attract and retain key employees.

ABOUT THE TOPIC

Careful immigration planning is essential for companies setting up and growing in the USA. Corporate reorganizations such as acquisitions or mergers, and rapidly changing immigration policies such as the new 15 month E2 visa, can have significant immigration impacts on your ability to attract and retain key employees.

In considering various immigration options, Paul Bertoni will review issues that arise along different points in a company's life cycle.

When opening a new office in the US, which is the best immigration category for you? If a corporate change terminates one’s immigration status, is it possible to switch to another immigration category? What are the impacts on spouses during such changes? What are the timing issues to consider with corporate changes, immigration policy changes, and their immigration impacts?
