Startups competing for the "Startup of the Year" award will present their projects to the public during a special showcase & pitching contest.

Three companies will be selected during this event:

- Two finalists for the ‘People’s Choice Award’. The winner will be awarded by the audience of the FABA Ceremony on May 23rd, after a pitching session on stage and a live-vote of the audience! 
- The winner for the ‘Jury’s Award’ determined by a panel of experts will be announced during the FABA Ceremony on May 23rd.

What is there to win for the Startups?

  •  2 round trip tickets SFO-CDG in Business Class with Air France.
  • An intensive mentoring session at Plug and Play Tech Center including:
    Pitching during their Friday pitch session
    An interview with their ventures team
    An invitation to attend Plug and Play summer Expo
     
  • Mentoring session with Paris Region experts on transatlantic business acceleration, pitching opportunities in SF, NY and Paris, and connections to our ecosystems of corporates and VCs​

TIMELINE

  • 5:30-7:00pm: Networking cocktail & Startup exhibition
  • 7:00-8:00pm: Pitching contest
  • 8:00-9:00pm: Vote, networking & cocktail including complimentary drinks and small bites!
