Château de Pommard and Famille Carabello-Baum

Every year, consumers and professionals from more than 80 countries around the world visit Château de Pommard to learn about the world of wine from Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) professionals and taste the purest expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from villages along the Route des Grands Crus. From the grape to the glass, guests experience Clos Marey-Monge, a geological marvel, and home to seven distinct clay and limestone-rich plots, now protected as one of the world heritage Climats of Burgundy by UNESCO. Founded in 1726, Château de Pommard combines three hundred years of savoir-faire and the innovative vision of Famille Carabello-Baum for the future. Wine lovers and critics agree the conversion to biodynamic viticulture is producing honest, energetic wines infused with an unmistakable sense of place while preserving the planet where we all live.

Groskopf Warehouse & Logistics

Groskopf was created in 1939 by Charles E. Groskopf to transport lumber and other construction materials. As the wine industry prospered in Sonoma and Napa, Groskopf gradually moved towards specializing in storage and transportation of wine-related product. In 2004 Jaguar Properties Corporation took over Groskopf and brought in capital and management expertise to revitalize and redefine the company strategy and culture. Today Groskopf operates in 3 buildings, two in Sonoma and one in American Canyon. It stores approximately 1.6 million cases for its warehouse customers and moves over 2 million cases annually for its logistics customers. Note: Jaguar Properties Corporation is our family business which owns and operates real estate assets. Groskopf Warehouse & Logistics is a Division of Jaguar.

Claire Ducrocq-Weinkauf OWNER & Winemaker

Picayune Cellars & Mercantile

Picayune Cellars was Started in 2011 by Jennifer Roberts and Claire Weinkauf. They arrived around the same time in the Sonoma Valley. Both share a joint passion for amazing wines and delicious food. Realizing that it often means breaking the bank in the Sonoma and Napa Valleys, they pursue the idea that with a négociant business model they can work hard to craft wines of outstanding quality that can be delivered at an exciting price point. This has been the promise of Picayune Wines since 2011. In 2016, Jennifer decided to focus on her family business and Claire bought her out. She remains a great friend and a sounding board in Picayune growth.    If you wonder what Picayune (pronounce {pee-ka-ˈyün} ) means, it used to be a Spanish coin worth half the value of the Real. It also means a little bit in French.  The key on the label represents the idea of “Unlocking Secret Wines from California” we sign confidential agreements with all the producers from whom we  purchase wines, that is why vineyard sources and exact provenance can not be disclosed.

Grape Vista

Grape Vista allows one to live follow time spent by each vineyard employee or team on each vineyard operation. This mobile app differentiates itself from the other tools available on the market, thanks to its incedibly user friendly interface. No manual data entry. With 3-4 clicks the operator can start recording their task. The web platform associated with the app allows the foreman, vineyard manager, or general manager to access all the information regarding the vineyard operations of one or multiple estates at the end of the day.

-> hourly employees have direct access on their phone to a summary of their day, week, month, etc. Thus, when pay day arrives, the office processing is greatly simplified as the data collected can be easily extracted from Grape Vista and transferred to your payroll software.
The app develoment is almost complete and Grape Vista will soon be available on Apple and Android. For the release, a 30 day free trial will be offered.
